These are pretty rare in the Factory Aged variety. I will also say that I've normally gravitated towards Murphy Aged Les Pauls, but this one has changed my mind about factory aging. It's very realistic and actually very Murphy-like. I've had some factory aged Les Paul's in the past that I have not liked. I'm not sure if it was actually a crack or possibly some grain lift or just a ding of some sort, but as they mention...
I've looked and felt from every angle and I'm not even sure if I found it, but I tried to point to where it could possibly be in the original Dave's listing in photo 12. Look between the arrow and the yellow line. Otherwise, this thing is an absolute masterpiece. Very light weight and acoustically resonant at 8 lb, 4 oz.
All original and completely unmolested with the original Custom Bucker pickups (one covered, one not) and the factory installed aged Grovers. Dave's listed the color as aged cherry, but it does have a little orange in it. To me, it looks like one of the more recent "Sunset Tea Burst" colors with a bit of a fade to it. Includes the heavy aged Lifton case, True Historic COA and all the tags.
Note: it is missing the "medallion" and only includes the original black plastic switch cover on the back. Only letting this one go because I have an opportunity on an aged Anniversary model that I want to act on. No smoke, must or mildew odors in the guitar or in the case. I frequently cross-post on The Gear Page and MyLesPaul.
